Identification of local resources and development of enterprises through value addition promoted the establishment of 12 business units in food processing with the technical support of PDS CORE team. Entrepreneurship development programmes, various trainings and linkages with various financial institutions and follow up programmes etc for nurturing new entrepreneurs were organised.
